2026 marks 10 years of celebrating,
the people who have grown with Aves
10 years at Avesco is more than just a number. It’s 10 years of experience, challenges, achievements, and memories. In this series, our colleagues share their personal stories and reflect on their journey with Avesco — the people, moments, and experiences that have shaped their time with us.
1. How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it evolved over the years?
My journey began in 2000. The previous owners were setting up a new company in Lithuania and were looking for someone with experience in the industry. Since I had worked for three years at the very first Caterpillar dealership, they offered me the opportunity to join the company.
From 2000 to 2002, I was the company’s only employee and was responsible for everything, from marketing to machine sales. As the company grew, I became a Key Account Sales Manager. Later, I was offered the position of BCP Product Group Manager for the Baltic countries, which is the role I currently hold.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
I have a degree in Hydraulic Systems Engineering. Working at this company allows me not only to apply the knowledge I gained during my studies, but also to continuously develop and acquire new knowledge.
I enjoy representing a company that is a global technology leader. And, of course, a competitive salary is definitely not the least important factor.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
I am happy to remember that I sold the first new CAT 365 FS quarry excavator and the first new CAT 140M motor grader in Lithuania.
I am also proud that, by developing and implementing the right strategy, we became the market leaders in the sales of compact track loaders.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
There are a few things that have surprised me, but it’s probably better not to write about them 😊
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
I can’t speak for the entire company, but if I focus on the area I am responsible for, I would say that you will be joining a team of ambitious yet friendly people. If you are willing to learn and grow, you will have plenty of opportunities to develop both as a person and as a professional.

1. How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it changed over the years?
My journey began in the spring of 2012. As a fourth-year student, I joined the Cat dealership as a Spare Parts Warehouse worker. After two years, when the opportunity arose, I moved into a Spare Parts Sales position. Two years later, I became a Service Dispatcher responsible for all mechanics in Lithuania. As the number of Cat machines sold increased and the number of mechanics grew, separate Service Dispatchers were introduced in Kaunas and Klaipėda. As a result, I currently coordinate service work for the mechanics in Vilnius.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
What has kept me at the company is its attitude towards employees, the working conditions, and the product I work with every day — Cat machinery.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
I am proud to have worked in this field for 14 years, including 10 years at Avesco. It is a great achievement to have spent so many years in the same industry and to have grown and developed together with the company.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
What has surprised me the most is that even the biggest challenges can be overcome when all employees work together as a team.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
Join us and you’ll see — it’ll be great!

How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it changed over the years?
My journey began in 2005, under a different company name. I joined as a mechanic. At that time, there were only two mechanics in Vilnius. After a few years, the number of mechanics and administrative staff increased significantly. Today, we have a large team across Lithuania. Last year was probably the biggest change for both me and Avesco Lithuania — at least in Vilnius. We moved into our own (OUR!!!) new premises, and I am now the Workshop Manager.
What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
I have been interested in machinery, how it is built, and how it works from a young age. And what does a mechanic need to do? Take it apart, repair it, and put it back together. The work was always varied — both in the workshop and at different sites, including ships, not only in the port but also at sea. My responsibilities are different now, so I can share my experience with my colleagues and help solve the problems that arise in our service department.
What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
My biggest achievements are the new workshop, my new responsibilities, and the new people I have met along the way.
What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
I always thought that one of the most memorable experiences would be visiting a ship for the first time, not as a passenger. Especially when you learn how everything works and operates there. You could say that a ship is like a separate, autonomous city. But no, that is not it. What has probably surprised me the most is that our work has no walls or boundaries. We can work all over the world, not just in Lithuania.
What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
Here, everything can be — and is — good. Everything depends only on you. Good luck!

1. How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it changed over the years?
My journey at Avesco began while I was still studying. At first, I worked as a mechanic’s assistant for two weeks a month, and later I started working full-time as a mechanic. Over time, I gained more experience, independence, and responsibility, and the nature of my work also changed.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
I think, first and foremost, it’s my colleagues. It’s great to work with people you can trust, turn to for advice, or ask for help. I also like that the work is never the same – different machinery, different problems, so you always have to think things through and look for a solution.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
I probably wouldn’t single out one specific achievement. What matters most to me is that over the years I have gained a lot of experience, and today I can solve many problems independently. And when needed, I can also share my knowledge with my colleagues.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
Probably how much the machinery itself and the mechanic’s job have changed over the years. When I started working, I definitely didn’t think that in the future I would be dealing so much with electronics, new technologies, or even 3D technologies used in construction.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
I would simply say – it’s worth giving it a try. If you enjoy working with Cat® machinery, like having a varied job, and don’t mind sometimes having to think things through to find a solution, I think you’ll really enjoy it here.

1. How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it changed over the years?
I joined Avesco after many years of working in the same field, where I held the position of Technical Communications Specialist (Service Engineer). I continued in the same position after joining Avesco. By continuing my work at Avesco, I wanted to see what changes would take place, and I have now had the opportunity to see the new office and workshop.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
The main thing that has kept me at the company is Caterpillar’s leading position in the construction equipment industry and my desire to see and try new technologies.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
I am proud to have continued my career in the same field and to have had the opportunity to experience the company’s development and changes over the years. Seeing the new office and workshop has been a particularly rewarding part of that journey.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
What has impressed me the most is seeing how the company has developed and how new technologies continue to change the construction equipment industry. The new office and workshop are a great example of this development.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
If you are interested in the opportunity to develop personally in the field of construction equipment repair and maintenance, Avesco is the place you need.

I joined the company 10 years ago as a mechanic. Over the years, I have gained a lot of experience, worked with different types of Cat machinery, and had the opportunity to improve my skills. The work has changed together with the company — the machines have become more advanced, and so have the technologies and diagnostic tools we use every day.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
I enjoy working with machinery and solving technical problems. I also appreciate the team I work with and the good working conditions. After 10 years, I still find the job interesting because there are always new challenges and something new to learn.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the experience I have gained over these 10 years and the knowledge I have built up as a mechanic. It is rewarding when you manage to find the cause of a difficult problem and get the machine back to work. I am also proud to know that my work helps our customers keep their machines running.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
What has surprised me the most is how much the technology has changed over the years. Machines have become more advanced and smarter, but even the biggest challenges can be overcome when the whole team works together.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
If you enjoy working with machinery and want to learn, I would definitely recommend joining Avesco. There are good people around you, interesting work, and opportunities to develop your skills. Come and try it — you might like it.

1. How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it evolved over the years?
I joined Avesco more than ten years ago. During this time, I have gained a great deal of professional experience and developed a deeper understanding of our customers’ needs, our equipment, and the specifics of the job. Every year has brought new challenges and opportunities that have helped me grow both professionally and personally.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
The biggest motivation has always been the people I work with and the variety that comes with the job. As a Service Manager, no two days are the same. There are always new challenges to solve, the best solutions to find for our customers, and opportunities to work together with colleagues and contribute to our overall success. I also really value the opportunity to keep learning and developing my skills.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of building strong, long-term relationships with our customers and earning their trust over the years. It is very rewarding to know that customers keep coming back and appreciate the work, professionalism, and commitment of our team.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
What has surprised me the most is how quickly the company has grown and evolved, introducing new technologies and ways of working, while still maintaining a strong team spirit and a genuine focus on both employees and customers.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
If you are looking for a stable company where professionalism, responsibility, and teamwork are valued, Avesco is a great choice. There are plenty of opportunities to learn, develop your skills, and build a long-term career alongside a strong and supportive team.
Once again, I would like to thank Avesco for the recognition. I am proud to be part of the Avesco team and happy to contribute to its continued success.

1. How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it changed over the years?
My journey began even before Avesco. I worked at Eurovia Lietuva, where I worked with Trimble 3D technologies on a daily basis. That was when I realised how much value these technologies could bring to the construction industry.
When the opportunity arose to join Cat Witraktor, which later became Avesco, I decided to take on a new challenge and help introduce these technologies to the Lithuanian market.
Over more than a decade, my role and responsibilities have grown – from working directly with customers to developing the SITECH division in Lithuania. Today, I am proud to contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions and help our customers work more efficiently.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
First and foremost – the people. I have always valued the professional, friendly and trust-based working environment.
I am also motivated by the fact that we work with advanced technologies that are constantly evolving.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
I am most proud that, together with the team, we have helped promote Trimble technologies in Lithuania.
It is rewarding to see how customers who once had doubts about digital solutions are now successfully using 3D machine control systems and achieving better results.
Another major achievement for me has been building a strong SITECH brand in the Lithuanian market.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
What has surprised me the most is how rapidly technology is evolving.
Over the past decade, the construction industry has become much more digitalized – from simple measurement solutions to smart, interconnected systems.
It is great to be part of this transformation and to see how these changes are improving our customers’ everyday work.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
If you are looking for a place where you can work with the latest technologies, Avesco is a great choice.

1. How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it changed over the years?
It was a continuation of my work at the Cat dealership. Before that, I worked at Witraktor, so I was very happy to have the opportunity to become part of the Avesco team. Initially, I worked with fleet management solutions at Avesco Lithuania, and later my responsibilities expanded to cover all three Baltic countries. Over the years, not only has the market changed, but so have the technologies — together with the team, we have implemented advanced fleet management solutions for our customers.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
What I value most is the trust and the opportunity to work together with the team towards our goals. Working with professionals in their respective fields, together with the support of management, helps us overcome any challenges. The Caterpillar brand and Avesco values also provide a sense of security and confidence, while working with the latest technologies in the market keeps us from standing still.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the company’s achievements as a whole. Seeing how the company has grown, strengthened, and expanded over these 10 years, I am proud to know that my daily work has been a part of that journey.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
I have been impressed by how a large, international company is able to adapt so quickly to changes in the local market. It is quite symbolic — we have grown from a small “borscht-coloured” building into a state-of-the-art home, both in terms of its exterior and our organizational operations. I am also impressed by the speed at which machinery has evolved into smart, data-generating systems, and by how the company is able to adapt to these changes and provide customers with the highest level of service. Finally, the communication culture, both at management and employee level, has also been impressive.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
Avesco’s history goes back more than 150 years. The company is a market leader in Central Europe, known for its high-quality products and customer-oriented service. It is an opportunity to work with world-class machinery and the standards of a market leader. Come with a desire to grow and develop, and you will become part of a strong, supportive, and successful team.

1. How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it changed over the years?
My journey started more than 20 years ago when I joined the Cat dealership in Lithuania as a student. Over the years, not only did my responsibilities grow, but the company itself also underwent massive modernization. Today, technologies, digital solutions, and machinery diagnostics are on a completely different level compared to when I took my first steps. I grew, and Avesco grew alongside me.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
Working with the Caterpillar brand keeps the job from becoming a dull routine, while working for a strong company like Avesco always provides a sense of stability. The team is an important part of that.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
It is gratifying to see the fleet of Cat machinery at sites across the country steadily growing. This is the result of our teamwork. Together, we can achieve even more.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
We were impressed by the shareholders' active investment in our infrastructure, the highlight of which is the new, modern Avesco office and service center in Vilnius. This demonstrates strong support and confidence in us on the part of the owners.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
If you enjoy working with machinery, I would certainly recommend working at Avesco. My own experience proves that it is a great place for a long-term career.

1. How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it changed over the years?
My journey at Avesco began quite unexpectedly in 2014. It started with lunch with an old and good acquaintance of mine. At the time, he was in the position I later took and was planning to leave to start his own business. He recommended Avesco as a great company and told me I certainly wouldn’t regret joining.
At that time, I wasn’t even considering changing my career path. But, as they say, there’s nothing to lose by having a conversation. I had that conversation –and here I am, 12 years later – 2 years with another Caterpillar dealer and 10 years with Avesco, with absolutely no regrets 😊.
When you work in such a dynamic environment, it’s hard to believe how quickly the years have passed.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
Freedom. Freedom to make decisions. Freedom to express your opinion – and, most importantly, knowing that your opinion is heard by management.
Here, you don’t feel a difference between being a senior executive and working in the warehouse. There is an atmosphere where everyone can feel equal, and everyone has the opportunity to be heard.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
In sales, every success is important, just as every setback is an opportunity to learn. I wouldn’t single out one particular achievement, because every success and every milestone has its own story.
Sometimes the journey is easier, sometimes more challenging. And, above all, every achievement – every sale – is the result of teamwork.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
It’s hard to say that I’ve been surprised by something in particular these days. What I appreciate most is that the company is able to attract and, more importantly, retain such a great team of people.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
I recommend it! 😊 Someone once told me the same thing.

1. How did your journey at Avesco begin, and how has it changed over the years?
I started working in 2007. I was the first mechanic in the Kaunas region. Over the years, I developed my skills, and our working environment changed as well – we moved locations around four times. We have now had our own workshop for about seven years. It’s not as large as the one in Vilnius, but we now have much better working conditions and can work comfortably throughout the year, whatever the weather.
2. What has kept you at Avesco all these years?
What keeps me here is my desire to keep improving and the fact that the company takes good care of its employees.
3. What achievement or moment are you most proud of?
I believe that if my responsibilities have changed and I have progressed over the years, it means I have earned a good reputation and the trust of the company.
4. What has surprised you the most during your time at Avesco?
What has surprised me most is how quickly technology continues to advance and how much it is changing the way we work.
5. What would you say to someone who is considering joining Avesco today?
We have a great and friendly team. We always share our experience, help each other and work together to solve problems. That’s what I would say to anyone who is thinking about joining our team.

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN PART OF THIS JOURNEY
Your trust, cooperation, and support have helped shape who we are today.
As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to the future with the same ambition and determination that have guided us from the beginning.
Here's to the next 10 years of growth, innovation, and success together.
Thank you for being part of AVESCO BALTICS story!
